I like my Nexus 7 very much and I use it for mails, internet browsing, playing music on my Sonos devices, editing blogs, browsing Twitter etc.
From time to time I experience some lag in the UI and in some Apps. It is not much but enough to be noticed by me.
I discovered that some apps on Nexus 7 – I don’t use – they use memory and CPU time and properly cause the lag I noticed.
So how do you disable unwanted apps on Nexus 7 – it is simple:
- Go to Settings.
- Select Apps.
- Select ALL tab.
- Select the application that you want to disable.
- Click on Uninstall updates (if have).
- Click on Disable.
- Confirm it by select OK.
I have disabled Google Currents, E-mail and a third app that was using ressources. And guess what – lag is now gone!
